In the Internet age, it is surprising that so much of our local community information is shared via paper newsletters that get distributed by hand house to house. This blog is intended as a forum for the residents of Turtle Rock to share news and communicate on issues that affect our community. Persons interested in being contributors for their neighborhood can contact me via email to request being added as a blog contributor. (david [at] frerichs.net)
Structurally, we will try to focus the blog entries on pure news and let opinions be expressed in the comments. However, I think there will also be plenty of room for editorial.
We all love our community, let's work together to make it stronger!
Thanks!

Newpath Makes Another Attempt at Turtle Rock
Newpath is continuing their push to get cell towers into Turtle Rock. Resident opposition continues to be strong. The city council unanimously denied Newpath a permit again on June 18, 2009. Newpath immediately filed an appeal, which will be heard during the city council meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2009.
